Stuff I Crocheted

How I Started: I took a public speaking class in college and for one of our speeches, we had to do challenge ourselves to do three things outside of our comfort zone during spring break and talk about them. One of my challenges was to learn how to crochet because I had tried to years ago and gave up in like one hour. I had always wanted to corchet, but it always seemed intimidating compared to knitting. Anyways I learned and now I ave been crocheting random stuff for the past three years.

This was the first thing I made that I was very proud of. The fluffy yarn hid most of my mistakes and it looked very cute. I showed it off in class and everybody cheered. Right now, it sits right next to my desk with a whole bunch of other stuff that I crocheted. I love crocheting stuff but I have no idea where to put them. Like I don't have any space in my desk anymore so I put them in random places in my room.

idk I just continued to make a bunch of cute stuff. Click on each of the images to read more about it

Here is a list of FREE patterns/videos because I don't want to gatekeep (none for snoopy bc I made him up as I went):

My Middle School Music Taste

It has been 8 years since I left middle school and in the big year of 2026, I find myself rediscovering the stuff I listened to during that time and realizing I was listening to peak. For context, I hated middle school, but at least I got good music to cope.

Twenty One Pilots: I could add every single tøp album up until trench but regional at best was one I completely forgot about. I mean yeah I know it was remade into Vessel but they got great songs that never made it to the final album like Ruby, Anathema, Kitchen Sink, Forest, Be Concerned, and Glowing Eyes. I like Lovely but I hate the chorus. This whole album reeks of middle school and my angst of growing up. I still think Vessel is their best album but I still really miss the RaB-exclusive songs. Eight years later, I can still mouth all the lyrics. As I am writing this, I am literally listening to this album rn.

The Brobecks: Shout out to my friend in school for introducing me to the Brobecks in exchange for me forcing them to listen to more mcr songs. I hope you're doing good wherever you are. They recommended me Everyone's a Jerk and I really liked it. Happiest Nuclear Winter is a no-skip album for me. I honestly completely forgot about this band until they rereleased HNW on streaming platforms. I'm so glad they did.

Mars Argo: I got recommended the 'Using You' music video when I was in 7th grade and I was hooked. Fun fact: I listened her entire discography while I started coding this website :o. Listening to it again now after knowing about lawsuit and the truth about their relationship, I have never felt more bad for a person. The toxicity was leaking in the lyrics of every song and I couldn't believe how I was able to listen to these songs all happy and whatever as 12 y/o. The songs are still bangers and her sound inspired some of the crappy music I made back then.

Gorillaz: My first Gorillaz song was Saturnz Barz when I watched the 360 music video on youtube. I remember thinking that the band was like a knock-off Scooby Doo gang and I was shocked to learn that they were like 40 y/o. Honestly, the main thing that really drew me to this band was the lore. It wasn't until I grew older when I really began to appreciate the music, but I'm pretty sure that's because I didn't like hip hop back then.

Dodie: The best white ukulele girl out of all of them. Her songs are great and they still get stuck in my head from time to time. She's one of the rare youtubers that make actually good music imo. Everytime I pick up a ukulele, dodie songs are the first thing to come in mind. She was also a musical influence in the crappy music I wrote in middle school.

Emo Trinity: I am grouping all the emo bands together because I was lowkey a bit of a poser. I only really listened to the most popular songs at the time of p!atd and fob, but with fob, I did listn to some of their older music because my dad introduced me to them. MCR was the only band where I was actively trying to listen to their entire discography, but the songs I enjoyed the most were the popular ones. And that's ok because I listened to all their old emo songs later on and really enjoyed them.

BONUS: In eigth grade, my music taste changed drastically and all of a sudden I was obsessed with songs I found in CN shows like adventure time and steven universe. I mainly listened to singular songs rather than the artists and their albums. These songs include Francis Forever - Mitski, No Wonder I - LAKE, Lonely - Brad Sucks, everything Rebecca Suagr wrote. Ooh I also remember I started getting into Imogen Heap but it wasn't until I entered high school when I regularly listened to her.

ok that's about it, I might make another one of these but with music I listened to during the pandemic but I'm still traumatized.

Wawa Shrine

Idk if I wanna make a dedicated shrine page on my website, so I'll just make them here!

I have a cute ol dog named wawa. That's not her real name but idk if I wanna dox my dog 😭. She is a tibetan spaniel which is a breed that no one has heard about except for that one elderly lady I met, she's based. As of writing this, she is 13 years old and for the past 3 years, I have admittedly been freaking out about her age.

This dog was a surprise gift for my 10th birthday. Fun fact, I didn't even get to see her the first five days we adopted her because I was on an overnight school trip. My doggo was 1.5 years old at the time. We adopted her from a different family that adopted her when she was a young, but they became too busy to take care of her. I remember she used to be pretty shy around us, but she warmed up to us pretty quickly.

I like to make her acessories. I've made a knitted scarf, a matching sewn neck hankerchief, a matching crocheted head bandana, and a doggy cap. She hates wearing all of them, but she looks cute regardless. I have also drawn this dog a lot. I drew her a s a school art project and it was turned into a magnet that is still on our fridge. This dog got me through the entirety of middle school, high school, the pandemic, and college. Bro has been on my side for so long now which is why I'm freaking out about her age. I have completely forgotten what life was like without my dog.

Ok no more sad talk here are more pictures.

Instruments I Can Play

Piano: When I was at the ripe age of 7, I took piano lessons. I never really got good at it because I hated practicing so I quit 3 years later. A year after that, I joined choir and made a lot of friends who played piano, which only inspired me to pick up the piano again. My motivation dwindle a little after that, but I got super inspired during pandemic to practice piano again. I also started playing zelda and I really wanted to learn a few songs from the franchise hehe. These past few years, I honestly haven't played piano much because everything I know is muscle memory and I'm always screwing it up which frusterates me and I've also been hella busy with school. BUT now that I graduated, I now have wasy more freetime and playing piano is on my list of things I wanna do.

Ukulele: Ok when I was in middle school, I was crazy inspired by people like twenty one pilots, dodie, and rebecca sugar to pick up a ukulele. Fun fact: I am completely self-taught on the ukulele. You guys should've seen me in 2016/2017, I was playing that thing everyday and trying to learn every sing tøp song at the time. Around this time, I also started making my own songs. Another fun fact: I tried making a musical about the pandemic on my ukulele. I made one genuinely banger song that gets stuck in my head from time to time and I wasn't able to finish all the other songs that I planned in my musical 😭. Anyways since 2023 I kinda got sick of the ukulele and wanted to play something else so I played...

Guitar: My family has this random acoustic guitar for some reason even though none us knew how to play. I was the only one who dared to try and learn how to play it. Fun fact: I actually tried learning how to play the guitar when I was waiting for my ukulele to ship. I remember that it was just really hard and it hurt and I instantly gave up the moment I got my ukulele. When the pandemic hit, I though it would be a great time to relearn it, and I learned were campfire basic chords, but lowkey it's enough. The more I played acoustic guitar, the more I realized that I want an electric guitar so bad. I really wanted to play mcr songs but they didn't sound edgy enough for me on acoustic. I asked my parents for an electric guitar but they said that I would have to perform for them first on the acoustic guitar. I KEPT THEIR WORD FOR TWO YEARS when I performed on stage during a choir showcase. I finally got the electric guitar and I sound cool af (I have an epiphone special ii btw ik it's cheap but I still sound cool). But lately I've been wanting to play acoustic again because I really do love the richer and softer tone.

Ocarina??: I almost forgot about this one because I barely play it and I suck at it 😭. Like any other zelda fan, I really wanted to play the ocarina. I have a night by noble one and I sound really bad at it. My lack of practicing breath control really becomes apparent when I play ocarina. One day I'll get good at it 😔

Here's me playing pizza time on the ocarina:

Welcome to the blog!

Wassup!! I finished coding the blog! I decided to go for an evangelion magi theme because it looks pretty cool and I wanna try coding another new aesthetic. It took me a whole day. I'm too tired to make it responsive so imma give that job to me in the future. Sorry mobile viewers .-.
